During today’s hearing before the Supreme Court, the Solicitor General sought an adjournment to go through FMP’s rejoinder which challenges secrecy in the functioning of the Special Committee.
The Supreme Court has directed the Government to file its reply in a contempt petition relating to the 4G mobile internet ban in Jammu & Kashmir.

Foundation for Media Professionals wrote to the Special Committee emphasising that blanket orders cannot be issued to indiscriminately slow down internet services in all districts of Jammu & Kashmir especially since there are less restrictive alternatives available.
